And if you like you can check out The Greenbelt: the Blog.
Below you'll find opinions liberally mixed with facts on Liberal-Progressives (I'm one). Other sections of the Greenbelt hold other things; you can check them out, too, below.

In this world of sin and sorrow there is always something to be thankful for; as for me, I rejoice that I am not a Republican.I'm a Democrat. I think our taxes probably aren't high enough (we're really undertaxed compared to many countries). I think the minimum wage must be raised: you can't live on less than $11,000 a year! I think we need single-payer health care. I think we need to provide daycare to people we're going to force to work. I think unions did us all a lot of good (like your weekends? thank a union member!). I think what's good for big business is good for big business. I think the FDA shouldn't have been deregulated (can you say 'ephedrine'? how about 'Thalidomide'?). And I think we need to leave our product liability law alone: how many more bad trucks would Ford have put out, knowingly, if it hadn't finally gotten too expensive for them due to lawsuits? And can you say 'Dalkon Shield'? I think our public health infrastructure is a disgrace.
Henry Lewis Mencken, 1880 - 1956
I think ... I think you probably think I should shut up. Okay. But, think about it, won't you? And look at Liberal Trails (and Ashcroft: A Very Bad Idea) of the Greenbelt for more political notions, okay?
